Supreme Court banned the registration of new diesel cars in Delhi,
which have engine capacity more than 2000cc from January 1, 2016 to
March 31, 2016 to control the pollution. With this decision of the
Supreme court, there will be loss of many popular car makers,
including the Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ford and luxury
car manufacturer Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, whereas the companies
which manufacture petrol and diesel cars (i.e. Maruti Suzuki, Honda,
Hyundai, etc.), will have a great benefit in their sale of vehicles.
Here, we're presenting a list of top cars that will be affected by
the diesel ban in Delhi.
Tata
Safari Storme
Tata
Motors launched the Safari in 1998 with a 2.0L engine and in 2007,
the company launched this 7-seater SUV with a 2179cc engine to
deliver the efficient power and fuel efficiency. But, after the ban
on diesel cars, the Tata Motors will have a bad impact on the sale of
its Safari.

Toyota
Fortuner, the premium SUV runs on a 3000cc diesel powertrain, which
seems to be banned as per the orders of the Supreme court.
Mahindra
Scorpio
With
an objective to enhance the sales of best selling SUV Scorpio,
domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra had launched its automatic
variant in the Indian car market. But, now with ban on diesel
vehicles above 2000+cc engine configuration, this dream of the car
maker does not seem to come true because of 2179cc engine adorned in
Scorpio.

Few
days back, Audi launched the facelift model of the Q7 SUV at the
price of INR 72.0 Lac ex-showroom. The new Q7 runs on a 2967cc TDI
engine which is about to face the ban of Supreme Court.

Toyota
Innova is equipped with a 2494cc diesel engine, available in India
for the starting price of INR 12.1 Lac ex-showroom, which is also
getting affected by the ban of diesel cars in Delhi.
Along
with the above list, Mahindra XUV500, Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra Xylo,
Toyota Camry, Toyota Land Cruiser, Hyundai Santa Fe, Tata Aria,
