Toyota Innova: The next generation innova with the new attraction for Indian market

Overview
Toyota Motors which is a Japanese automotive manufacturer recently launched the next generation Innova for India with starting price of Rs. 10.51 Lakh (ex-showroom price) and going high to Rs. 15.80 lakh (ex-showroom price). The New Toyota Innova is blessed ABS system and a warranty of 3 year or 100000 kilometers which is speculated to be extended on spending some money. The next generation Toyota Innova is expected to be a profitable for its MPV segment and compete with and Nissan Evalia, Honda Mobilio and Maruti Ertiga.
Engine and Mileage:
The Toyota Innova is being offered in both diesel and the petrol variants equipped with five speed manual transmission gearbox. The buyers have also an option to choose between the BSIV and BSIII diesel options which are manufactured with 2.5-litre, 2KD-FTV engine with displacement capacity of 2494cc. Additionally, it has 4-cylinders and 14-valves and the engine which is totally based on the DOHC technology can generate the power 100.57bhp at 3600rpm and the output of the torque is 200Nm between 1400 to 3400rpm only in BSIII variants but in the BSIV version provides the output of 200Nm between just 1200 to 3600rpm which is supposed to be a good range.
The petrol variant is integrated with the 2.0-litre, 1TR-FE mill which has an electronic fuel injection system and the DOHC system based engine is configured with 4-cylinders and 16-valves with the capacity of 1998cc. It delivers the maximum power of 130.1bhp at 5600rpm and the torque output is 181Nm at 4000rpm.
The diesel engine provides the minimum mileage of 10.2 kmpl on urban roads and maximum 12.8 kmpl on expressways whereas the petrol variant gives the minimum mileage of 8.5 Kmpl on city roads and provides the maximum of 12.5 Kmpl on the highways.
Acceleration & Pick-Up:
The petrol variants with the 1998cc engine provide the maximum speed of 170 Kmph and it is capable to reach from zero to 100kmph in just 12.8 seconds whereas the diesel engine 2494cc, 2KD-FTV is capable to reach to 100kmph from ground within just 15 seconds
Interiors & Exteriors:
The New Toyota Innova has stylish internal cabin which is designed in a classy manner and it has a dual tone color scheme. A good quality material has been used to decorate the interior and the MPV is available with the seven and eight seating arrangements with the dual tone color scheme. A high quality fabric has been used in the eight seater option whereas the seven seater option, ZX trim has high quality leather. The seven seater option has individual seats in the first and second row and the third row is a bench seat. Whereas in the eight seater option has the bench seat in the second row with the 60:40 split folding facility. The dashboard of the eight seating variant has an storage compartment with an advanced instrumental panel and four spoke steering wheel. The instrument cluster is fitted with the a trip meter, multi-information display, tachometer, clock and option combimeter.
The exterior with a elegant look has been fitted with many modernistic cosmetics. In the central, the radiator grille has a company’s logo with the chrome. The rest trims is integrated with the incorporating front fog lamps. A set of alloy wheels looks stylish from the side profile having the trendy body decals which provide a classy appearance. The wing mirror has a turn indicator for providing safety. With many stylish features the tailgate design gives the rear profile an amazing appearance. The taillight cluster is equipped with some features like turn indicator, courtesy lamp and break light. The rear profile has a license plated console with a couple of reflectors and a chrome strip which positioned horizontally.
Braking & Handling:
