Datsun Go Plus, would be the second initiative by Datsun,
the completely owned subsidiary of Japanese car maker Nissan in Indian car
market after Datsun Go hatchback. The MPV is based on the same platform on
which Go hatchback has been developed. The MPV is speculated to make its debut
in Indian car market sometimes in the beginning of next year, but has got huge
attention prior to its launch. Going through the positive response received
from Indian buyers for Go hatchback (although the hatchback failed in global
NCAP test) it is expected that MPV will receive the same treatment when it will
be launched in Indian car market. It is also speculated that the MPV will
succeed in overcoming the issues that affected the image of Go hatchback.
To begin with the New Datsun Go Plus would embellish the same 1.2 litre petrol
engine that is offered in Go hatchback. The engine would have displacement
capacity of 1198cc and would generate the power of 67 bhp and torque of 104 Nm.
The engine will sport five speed manual gearbox and is expected to deliver the
fuel efficient performance of 20 kmpl, which would be something an amazing gift
for a person looking to buy a complete family vehicle. Although nothing
has been revealed about the price but it is assumed that going through the
tough competition in MPV segment the Datsun GO Plus Price would be a surprising
package for buyers especially because of its accommodating capacity which is
endorsed to accommodate seven passengers easily. However industry experts
believe that it would be priced falling between Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh
(ex-showroom price).
Talking about the speed acceleration Go+ plus
will touch the mark of 100 kmph within the span of 15 to 16 seconds followed by
the top speed varying between 140 to 160 kmph. With this impressive speed
acceleration and fuel efficient performance of 20 kmpl, the MPV would be
undoubtedly a fruitful package for its buyers. Moving towards the looks of MPV
it would be interested to learn that although MPV is developed on Go hatchback
platform but still it differs from it to great extent. The front fascia bestows
hexagonal shaped radiator grille, followed by powerful headlight cluster
powered with halogen headlamps and turn indicators. The body colored front
bumper with integrated air ducts and sleek air dam give the MPV a rough look.
Moving towards the rear portion alike front bumper the rear bumper also receive
body colored treatment which is further enhanced with swept back shaped
taillight packet which integrates high powered lamps and turn indicators. The
tailgate is further blessed with powered lamps and turn indicators. The side
profile receives sweeping lines along with regular steel wheels with full wheel
covers.
Inside the cabin Go Plus the first thing which will grab your attention at first instance are dual tone interiors. Well moving ahead you will find sufficient leg space for front seat passengers. The gearbox has been mounted in the dashboard thus makes sufficient space for front seat passengers. The other interested features adorned in are air conditioner unit with mobile docking system, instrument cluster etc. Integration of three spoke wheel offers smooth driving experience to driver and further enhances the look of this MPV from inside.
