Launched almost four months back in August 2014 Hyundai Elite i20 from India’s second largest car manufacturer has grabbed attention of car enthusiasts quite before its launch. The hatchback is best illustration of superior design philosophy, high defined technical features, superior performance and finally the last but not the least priced within the reach of a layman. During last few years Indian car market has emerged as one of the most liked car markets by all major car makers across the world and as soon as any car makes its debut in global market it is launched in Indian car market within the span of six months.

1.   Power: Hyundai Elite i20 from Korean car maker can be considered as an advanced version of existing hatchback which is bestowed with an array of luxurious and comfort features that are offered in high priced luxurious cars. To begin the fluidic design philosophy adopted by car maker which was designed to keep expectations of generation next buyers in concern, who prefer to go for cars with sportier look and superior performance. To satisfy their needs Elite i20 is empowered with powerful engines in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol version is energized with 1.2 litre Kappa dual VTVT petrol engine which has displacement capacity of 1197cc and boosts the power of 81.9 bhp and torque of 114.7 Nm at 6000 rpm and 4000 rpm respectively. On the other side with displacement capacity of 1396cc the diesel variant is empowered with 1.4 litre CRDi engine that churns the power of 88.7 bhp and torque of 219.6 Nm. The petrol version is offered with five speed manual transmission system while the diesel with six speed manual transmission system. With top speed of 145 kmph the petrol variant touches the mark of 100 kmph in span of 15-16 second whereas diesel variant achieves the same mark in span of 13-14 seconds.

2.  Looks: The fluidic design philosophy adopted by car maker has been adopted to grab the attention of young car enthusiasts. To brief  about the exteriors front fascia receives body colored bumper with integrated fog lamps. With to offer superior performance by engine company has offered air intake section at the front bumper. In this way the combination of fog lamps and air intake system with hexagonal front fascia enhance the impression of front view. The side profile receives chrome door handles, diamond cut alloy wheels and black colored ORVMs. Alike front portion the rear portion also receives an eye catching look with new light system, which is further enhanced with LED brake lights, the rear bumper has been enlarged to give it more sportier look. Inside the cabin the hatchback is developed with completely new offers than compared to its predecessors. The three spoke steering wheel now receives multi-functional buttons facilitating the drivers to retain control of various features on his finger tips. The ergonomically developed seats are designed to offer comfort seating experience to passengers. Other attractions offered in interiors are electrically foldable mirrors, all four power windows,  front center armrest, drink holders, accessory power sockets,  dual trip meter, engine running time and external temperature display, rear head rests, power air conditioner, and various others to note.

To offer safe driving experience to them the front wheels have been equipped with disc brakes whereas the rear wheels are offered with drum braking system. Similarly to offer comfort seating on dump roads the front axle is offered with McPherson strut system with stabilizer bar and the rear axle is empowered with torsion beams. With this integration of anti lock braking system offers skid free driving to drivers.
